Normally, I don't exactly like princesses. To me, they don't really deserve their happy endings. It's basically by chance and luck - and magic. and in the real world, that type of stuff doesn't exist here. Cinderella's fate may seem horrible (to do chores every single day), but in reality, that's an everyday thing. A lot of kids in this world have to survive with having a 'evil' stepmother or stepfather. And do they get a fairy godmother? No. Surprisingly, this actually wasn't bad. The description that I read from the book was completely different from what I read,though. I loved the creative streak inside this book, how there was a twist of both snow white and sleeping beauty.I just loved the uniqueness of this book. I wouldn't exactly call this a fairytale retelling because it's one on it's own. This story is full of love, passion and confusion at how everyone's lives are going to play out after a disastrous accident. No one would really expect a dash of humor in this - but it does have some. I loved the hilarious rhyming parts and other things that made me laugh so hard. Review
When I first started this book, I didn't know what to expect. I liked the mysterious beginning and the way the characters were described. I also really liked that I could tell that each person's charecteristics were different and special. I liked how you could feel the emotions of each moment and sort of 'see' the triumphs of the characters and the near-death-expieriences as well.
I really liked Snow-burn. There are the moments that you think, "The character is really dead now," Or the moments that you're saying "I can't believe that happened!"

Vince was a really compassionate character in a way. Maybe daring but sort of compassionate. Like the way that he said that he would still take Hitler in even knowing how bad he was.

The "braniac" was really the basic everyday teenage braniac. The not daring type of person unless someone pushes them to do it.

Snow-burn had a unique personality, and anyone who is a fan of teenage adventure stories or thrillers, this is for you.

Review
         Reading the summary of Cinders already made me excited enough to read the book. As I watched the book trailer, my eagerness to read this book grew. I happened to recieve the book just today, and I raced through it in atleast 2-3 hours. Michelle Davidson Argyle is a great original fairytale story reteller. I did happen to enjoy her book-I just had a few things I wished could be changed.

          I thought Cinderalla was a character that couldn't decide what she wanted anymore-the stranger or Rowland, Peasant life, or the life of a monarch. I was a little bit confused on what type of character she was. But as the story went along, I understood her better, and got to know her side of the story.

           Kale was the unknown stranger haunting her dreams. I thought that he was really mysterious, which was good-it left me hanging off at a end. What I didn't like about him was that he decided to let Cinderella choose another path instead of the one she'd be happier on.
I liked the feeling of suspense, worry, intrigue. I thought this book measured up to Gale Carson Levine's stories, and I hope to read more of Michelle Davidson Argyle's books. Hopefully there is a sequel-it was partly unfinished at the end.

I just recieved this e-book yesterday-and I'm already finished with it-which is amazing, considering how many books I have to complete reading before school starts. I have to say, The reunion of the untouchables is a wonderful book-with just maybe a few parts that I would like better if it was changed.

I liked Ethan and sympathized with him all the way. I thought it was great that he was accepted onto the studytrain. My only problem with him is: how could he have betrayed everyone on the studytrain like that-especially when they rescued him from his misery? I would have liked it much better if Ethan realized the flaws before the ending. I think Ethan was over-powerhungry-especially since he was just rescued from his personal home of a cell.

Alesia was nice, kind, and what I heard from Ethan-pretty. She was much more powerful than I perceived and is purely good and true. I didn't like it much that Alesia wasn't heard from almost halfway through the story, and then she appears again at the end-she should have been included in some parts of the story, atleast mentioned-she was the chosen one, after all. But otherwise, Alesia is my favorite character.

Lena...I can't say she's my favorite. As for the other minor characters...they're not my favorites either. But Parker is the one character that I completely despise-just waiting for the day that the leader of the untouchables would come, hmm?

But I fully enjoyed the story-just maybe at a little minor part here and there, you can see how rebellious Ethan is. Too rebellious-now if he wasn't accepted back, what would happen then?

Why?: The plot was good, but Ethan sounded like such a good character-until the middle and end. We need to know Ethan more in depth. Also, some things aren't exactly clear:how did they study, what did they study particularly? but otherwise, not bad.

Review

The moment I saw the picture of this book and read the summary, I realized that this book was special-and the moment I came back from my sleepaway camp that I attended (Camp Warwick) I immediately asked my Mother if I had recieved any packages-and I was SO happy when I did! I raced through the pages like there was no more days left to the world.

Now Max is the typical special needs boy. Well, at least he SEEMS to be that way. Now is he really allergic to the sun? I'll keep you guys guessing. But...really? I loved Max, as uniquely different as he is. Another character that I ultimately connected to was his runaway friend, Rose/Artemis.

I liked that Max got flashbacks of memories and that they seemed to be disappearing from his mind-and the emotions that danced throughout the story. I really hope Christine Brodien-Jones makes a sequel!!

Plot

I liked the plot of this story. Alot. It was unique. Special. Different. Do you know what I'm

talking about?? Of course there's been stories about dragons before. And stories about

regular teenagers like Kay Wyatt in them. But this one included a special twist in the story-a

world of dragons on half of the hemisphere and a world of regular humans with regular

conflicts on the other. I just thought it was so cool-a mixture of fantasy-and normal teenager

stuff that teenagers always struggle with.

Suspense was really good. At some points I got pretty frustrated because I wanted to know

what was going to happen, but overall, pretty good, pretty good.

I didn't happen to like the ending very much.

Why can't we find out who it was? I hope there's a sequel-I want to find out more. It was too

imcomplete. It was completely without an ending.

This is my first time trying my review this way, so I hope you enjoy it!

Plot
I completely understand why Kelley Armstrong is a #1 New York Times Bestselling author-

because her book is full of such a riveting adventure that you just can't let go of it! I

happened to be with a friend at My Dad's Friends Birthday party for his daughter who just

turned 1 year old when I was reading the book-it completely captured me into it. Everything

was crystal clear, and I could understand who was what and everything that happened. I

thought it was amazing that she could just make you be drawn into the book, and make it feel

like you were there, feeling everything that the characters were feeling.

Kelley Armstrong had the element of suspense included in her story-just enough-but not

enough to make us bored, which is a good thing. I liked the way she incorparated suspense

throughout the story, and I just loved how Kelley Armstrong's book makes us hold on and

never let go. So I have a feeling I know what I'm going to rate suspense for the reckoning.

The ending was pretty good, the only problem I had with it was that The Edison Team was

still after them, so it was like "What's going to happen to them next?" We don't know what

happens next unless the author decides to write another story. I think it would be better if

they just escaped without the Edison Group/Cabals (Or something like that) coming after

them.

I absoloutely LOVE the cover. I believe that's Chloe on the cover, wearing her necromancer

Amulet. The cover of the Reckoning Symbolizes the main character amd who she is. I also

thought that since they put Chloe on the cover it sort of symbolized that this was her book-

where you could see what she was feeling (and you did) and understand everything from her

point of view.

There's about almost no flaws I can find. The settings in the Reckoning are crystal clear, but

there aren't as many details or descriptions that I'd like their to be-sometimes if you give too

much details your reader gets bored-but it's good to have some, at least.

I thought this book was an amazing and riveted story with a girly punch straight in the

middle. This book was great-making the dream of every young girl come true. The

characters were completely heartfelt, the cover symbolizing what the story was about. I

loved how the plot took one twist, another turn, and continues to give you as much

excitement and suspense as possible. I loved how this was a book of glamour, love, family,

and hysterical laughter at the same time. I think the only possible flaw in this book that I

saw is possibly description and setting. If we could have a little more details that would be

great. Otherwise, this book is amazing!

This book was amazing-like the other books that have been recently published this year. I

loved how the element of "Karma" was mixed into the whole book and made into the main

part. I loved how it was sort of a normal teenagers revenge attack/plan, except that Jessica

Brody changed it and made it different from the normal teenage drama stories. The

characters were all distinct and had their own little quirks, and the the plot was amazingly

complex and exciting. There are surprises in this book that make people wonder how the

author even came up with it. The ending was perfectly satisfying, and Jessica Brody gave the

perfect settings and gave just enough details-but not too much. This book is a thriller about a

teenage girl who's about to strike her revenge....

At first, I thought it was a little confusing Just a little. It got better when everything was


explained. I liked how this was a story about family, love, life, and friendships and it was


compassionate. I thought the characters were awesomely formed-and had their own unique


personality. I thought the cover was beautiful-a girl I beleive is Olivia wearing a dazzling


dress made out of stars, and I lovedhow her lower body disappeared into the sky. The


description and setting of thsi book was well formed, but the details could bebetter-I didn't


receive much. I thought the ending was great-satisfying, but still making you want more.


The suspense was awesome-I loved how Alexandra Bullen makes you grab hold of the book


and wish you could just inject it in your head and find out what was going to happen already.


The plot was really good, just some parts of the book don't exactly make sense that much.


But otherwise,it was actually really good, so if you like stories that are compassionate, this is


for you!

Again, I thought this book was AMAZING. This year was probably the best out of all of the

years that had the best selection of new books. I thought it was amazing that Amy Brecount

white had incorporated flowers with the whole entire story altogether. I was always

fascinated with herbs and flowers (as I'm Chinese and I used to dream about being a

herbalist) but this gave me new inspiration, and I really really want to read more of her

work! Congrats to Amy Brecount White, her book ahs made the top books of 2010!

Of course as I first decided to read this book for the 2010 Debut's author challenge, I thought

this book would be pretty good-just by looking at the cover and reading the description.

When I finally got a chance to go to the library, I was so excited! The moment I got my hands

on the book, iI read and read and read. And about three hours later, I finished the whole

entire book-and I was so surprised! Leah Cypess added in the perfect amount of suspense,

romance, magic, dialogue, and detail. I was so stunned that the book was already over, and

I'd love it if Leah Cypess wrote a sequel-not all stories have to end. This book was better

then just good-it was amazing! The cover was beautiful and mystical, The description

perfect, the characters well developed. Everything about this book intrigued me. I just

couldn't beleive it had ended already! I loved the idea of the shifter, and it just made

Mistwood become one of the TOP BOOKS OF 2010! Congrats, Leah Cypess! I definetely

reccomend this book to girls who love fantasy and romance, as well as science-fiction! This

book was ultimately wonderful!
