I came up with the idea for the book pretty randomly. I just started writing the first few chapters, not having any idea where it was going to go. As I started to write I realized what I was going to write about and I took it from there. Some of the stories and experiences within my book are real life experiences.
2.Is there anything that inspired you to write?
There is nothing in particular that inspired me to write. I've always just had a strong passion for reading and writing, which led me to writing books.
3.Did you model any of your characters after people you know?
I did model some of my characters after people in my life. Some of them are pretty much the exact same people and others are just mixes of a personality trait from one person or another. By doing this it helped the characters come to life.
4.What is your favorite part in your book and why?
I don't think I have a favorite part in my book!
5.Did anything in your book happen in real life?
Yes. Some of the experiences that I have in my book and the stories happened in real life. For example though, my parents are not divorced and I do not have a long lost step sister. What is real in my book is mostly the mini stories- like flashbacks from Paige's 6th grade experience.
