"A girl named Spring Pearl lived in China. Her parents died when she was little. A nice rich man takes her into his home so she can have a nice place to live and people to care for her. She has to do a lot of work to earn her keep but she can do it." Ashley Nobis, resident scholar.
This is an extraordinary book. It has everything that captures the suspense of the moment. It's compassionate, and it shows a girl trying to find her place. I would definitely recommend this book to any girls who are trying to find their place in the world, as well as others. I really hope you read this book-because it has alot of potential going for it.
